A Homeowner wishing to do their own plumbing or electrical work in their home must first obtain a permit from this office.
The following is a list of some of the more common items that require permits. this list does not include all of the projects that require permits, but is intended to cover the more common items.ELECTRICAL PERMITS
- New buildings, additions & alterations
- Any new electrical apparatus
- To change, alter, or repair any apparatus
- New Service (Rewire) or change Service
Note: Small rooftop solar project permits are approved within 3 business days.
